2009 CBA-ABATE Independence Day ride to protest helmet law

About 50 riders met in the Roses department store parking lot Saturday morning. American flags buttons and patches glinted from leather jackets, and full-size flags flew from the rear of chrome choppers.
Some riders chose not to wear helmets for the brief jaunt down Wilkinson Boulevard. Others wore the required headgear
