Third Annual SC Biker Scavenger Hunt:
January 8, 2008
Opening day of the 2nd regular session of the 117th South Carolina General Assembly
Attached is the
scavenger hunt list used by ABATE of SC. Feel free to steal this game
for your SMRO. Make it fun and the numbers will grow each year. We
also added a skit (street theater) this year by Ralph Bell titled
"Safety Sam." Sam ran about telling all the bikers to go
home and that NHSTA had sent him to represent them and make sure they
were safe. Safety Sam also said other stuff like "go home your
making my job harder and wasting tax money" and "once I get
helmets on all you bikers I'll outlaw motorcycles next and get you
all in cages where you will be safe..." It was a hoot... you
would have to see it in person to really appreciate it. I'll try to
post photos and an article later watch from more info in this
evening's "Biker Ezine." If you don't take the ezine sign
up at bikerezine.com
Have a great day folks,
FF
PS - The purpose of "item 1 under patch requirements"
was to flood the lobby just before session began while all the press
and legislators were present... another moment of street theater. If
anyone has questions about the scavenger hunt etc feel free to ask on
the BR forum or email me off list.
Please tally your points and bring this sheet to lunch at the Flying Saucer (located at Senate and Park) for your patch and prizes.
