B.O.L.T. Liberty Call-In Hour

The B.O.L.T. Liberty Call-In Hour is a weekly coast to coast conference call / internet radio talk show that can be heard all over the world, by anyone with an internet connection. Public calls are open to everyone, and we give callers plenty of time on the virtual soapbox.

B.O.L.T. started doing this a few months ago. It's like an internet radio talk show, but it is truly a conference call. Some of them have been private and unrecorded, but lately we've been inviting the public. There is even an archive of past episodes. We strive to have the live "show" always be on Tuesday night at 9pm Eastern Time.

These have worked out exceptionally well. We tackle all biker rights issues, and many other issues in which abusive government threatens our rights, liberties, and freedoms. We share tips on how to protect your rights during police stops, and how to argue helmet cases in court, even as pro se laypersons. We get updates about biker rights issues from around the country. We have had special topics such as Motorcycle Only Checkpoints. We've also had an occasional featured guest, such as veteran helmet ticket-fighter Don Blanscet.

Everyone is welcome to call in. We do our best to oblige by giving everyone adequate time to express themselves, present ideas, comment, or ask questions.

This topic will be used for announcements of the topic for the next call-in hour.

B.O.L.T. Liberty Call-In Hour: FMVSS BS. Guest: Tom McGrath

The next episode of the B.O.L.T. Liberty Call-In Hour will be:

FMVSS BS and Special Guest: Tom McGrath

Special guest: Tom McGrath

Tom McGrath of the McGrath Law Firm is the attorney for the bikers in their case against the city of Myrtle Beach.

Updates: BOOST v Myrtle Beach, bikers v. Myrtle Beach, helmet ticket stops and court cases, checkpoints, and any hot news and alerts that arise.

Other Topics: non-applicability of FMVSS, preemption in federal and common law, used equipment, NHTSA counsel interpretive files. USC TITLE 49 Chapter 301.

The updates portion of the hour is going to be brief but important. This is a critical time, with the important bikers v. Myrtle Beach court case looming right around the corner in South Carolina Supreme Court. Expect to have a full hour dedicated to bikers problems in MYRTLE BEACH in an upcoming episode. The implications of every city in America going against preemptive laws and enforcing their own standards are enormous. It is also insane! Imagine riding across country and having to switch out your motor vehicle equipment in every city! Wiper blades, check. Brake fluid, check. Automobile safety helmet, check. Remove donkey balls from trailer hitch, check. Remove all evidence of fast food , such as hamburg wrappers, check. You might end up having to bring a trailer-full of equipment with you! North American Union Drivers License, check. - OMG!!

The discussion topics portion of the hour; Don't let the official sounding topics scare you. You do not have to be an expert to participate. All of you who are interested in learning is one of the main reasons we have the call-in hour. We enjoy sharing this information. If anyone wants to brush up in order to prepare in advance, here is a plethora of information to either begin your education, advance your education, or brush up on what you already know. If the particular information about helmet laws you are looking for is not on that page, the links will serve you well.

This will be a public conference call from coast to coast.

We hope to give all callers their turn at the virtual podium. There is a lot of information to cover. We'll take calls and answer your questions the best we can. Keep in mind that we are lay-persons rather than lawyers, although lawyers occasionally call in.

You won't want to miss this one! Pass it on! All welcome. Invite your bros and sisters.

Recorded Episode of B.O.L.T. Liberty Call-In Hour

Thanks to special guest, Tom McGrath, and participants who called in from across the country, last nights' B.O.L.T. Liberty Call-In Hour was another tremendous conference call. This was a true coast to coast conference call with participants from NC, SC, VA, CA, NV, NY, MA, and elsewhere.

The episode is archived and can be listened to at http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/66775
or the mp3 file can by downloaded directly from http://recordings.talkshoe.com/TC-66775/TS-310571.mp3

Next Tuesday, I expect we will continue on the subject of FMVSS BS, and invite the public to call-in. I want to get into the NHTSA interpretive files and how the NHTSA counsel tries to do a political two-step in dodging questions - but we're tagging them hard, left and right. BAM! That was fun...hit 'em again!

We'll be looking forward to an update from Tom on the Tuesday following the SC Supreme Court Case. The court case will be on the Wednesday, February 3rd. The Supreme court is not expected to document their decision for quite a while, but Tom will be able to give everyone a feel for how it went on February 9th. Keep in mind that this is not going to be a "gimme" on anyones' part - Tom will present the bikers' arguments and an attorney hired by the city will be presenting the cities arguments. The implications across the entire USA are enormous, as a negative would further impact the ability to travel from city to city and state to state, all across America

In freedom,
jan
